An Yan is a professor of finance at the Gabelli School of Business, as well as associate dean of research and faculty development, and co-director of the Center for Research in Contemporary Finance.
Professor Yan received his undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University, China, and his PhD in finance from Boston College. His main research interest is in theoretical and empirical corporate finance. He has published his research in the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and other significant academic outlets.

颜安教授是福坦莫大学加贝利商学院金融学教授、副院长、现代金融研究中心主任.颜教授在2015年被授予“长江学者奖励计划”讲座教授。此奖励是中国为海外学者所聘的最高荣誉。他还担任清华大学中国产业发展研究中心执行理事，清华大学兼职教授，香港科技大学的访问教授.

颜教授致力于研究理论和实证公司金融、行为金融等领域的许多课题。并在国际著名学术刊物，如《金融经济学杂志》, 《金融研究评论》, 和《金融及量化分析杂志》等发表多篇论文。同时他还是国际一流学术杂志《银行与金融杂志》的副主编。

颜教授本科毕业于清华大学，并在波士顿大学获得金融博士学位。
