As a former U.S. Naval Officer transitioning to the private sector following four years of military service in Asia, I was hungry to play a constructive role in the increasingly important U.S.-China economic relationship. I chose BiMBA as the springboard to such a career because of Peking University's reputation as China’s top university, and knowing I could earn an American-accredited MBA. BiMBA's in-depth lessons into China's macro-economy, policy, and business environment played a critical role in helping me land my dream job of facilitating trade and investment between the U.S. and China.

BiMBA offered many opportunities for me to build connections with many encouraging and successful people, who encouraged and supported me towards my dreams. I also have great opportunities to learn from the renowned professors from top universities all around the world. With their help, I have deeper understandings of my career and life. Now I want to take on something I have always dreamed of – venture capital. Although it will be hard to enter this sector, but with the knowledge and skills I learned at BiMBA, I think my dream is not that far. It is my honor to study and become a grown-up with my peers in this program.

I fell in love with BiMBA at the first sight. Beautiful garden, energetic alumni, and friendly professors made me decide to apply to 2015 Full-Time MBA Class without any hesitation. Luckily, I was admitted. At BiMBA, I felt that I moved into a new world. My classmates are all from different field that made the entire class so diversified. Also, BiMBA provides many opportunities for us to connect with the real business world. In class, we analyzed the business cases from the real world, which allowed us to stay on track. After class, we were able to conducted interviews with executives in many big companies from different industries. BiMBA also offers many resources and outstanding platforms for us to build up our connections. In the past four months, I had created an industry club with two of my classmates and raised a crow-funding for our Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Challenge team. At BiMBA, I feel like I am a better me that I cannot imagine before.

Taking over my family business is an essential goal in my five-year-plan, and it is also a big challenge for me. After sixteen years of studying aboard experience in Malaysia and in United States, BiMBA is a starting point for me to blend in China’s community. The integration of in-depth study into China’s economic development, policy and business environment will be extremely helpful for me who grow up overseas. Moreover, BiMBA recruits world-class professors who have rich experience in their field of expertize and have passion for teaching. In class, professors infuse their wisdom, experience and insights into curriculum to provide a better understanding of theory application in a real world business setting. All in all, BiMBA is the ideal education for me, an engineering background oversea returnee, to blend in Chinese society and to bridge the gap between technical disciplines and business imperative.

 

MBA项目简介：

北京大学国家发展研究院BiMBA商学院的MBA项目是北京首家中外合作MBA，也是国内最早的全英文授课MBA项目之一，以“国际化程度高”而著称。作为“智库中的商学院”，BiMBA开设全日制MBA及在职MBA项目，项目师资阵容强大，来自全球二十余所著名商学院，其中国家发展研究院教授与海外教授比例各占50%。近三年来全日制MBA班国际学生占总人数20%以上；在职MBA班中近60%同学来自跨国公司，近年来，有越来越多的来自国企，民营企业, 合资公司以及创业公司的申请人加入我们的项目，以提升自我来应对不确定性的经济环境变化和全球化带来的机遇与挑战。  

BiMBA商学院MBA项目多次蝉联《福布斯》杂志中国最佳商学院“最具价值MBA项目”及“投资回报”排名第一位。

? 毕业生将获得比利时Vlerick商学院颁发的工商管理硕士（MBA）学位证书
? 2016级MBA入学新生通过全国同等学力考试和论文答辩，可以获得北京大学金融学或企业管理学硕士学位；
? 提供面向全日制及在职MBA申请人的多种奖学金机会；
? 每年7月，MBA学生可选择赴纽约Fordham大学商学院进行全球金融学硕士（MSGF）课程学习，并有机会获得学位；
? 每年8月，MBA学生可选择赴美国硅谷游学，零距离感知“双创”脉搏；
