Luxury industry experience (1980‐2004)
Denis Morisset worked about 25 years in the Luxury Fashion Industry and occupied COO position positions at Ralph Lauren (Europe), was CEO of Couture House Pierre Balmain, CFO of Children Worldwide Fashion (leader in Luxury children wear with Burberry, Kenzo, Donna Karan, etc.) and CEO of Giorgio Armani (France & Belgium) from 2000 to 2004 Denis was also between 1993 and 1999, President and CEO of Group Sac, the second largest shoes manufacturing group in France and developed both in-­‐house and licensed shoes brands internationally. Consulting Experience (2004‐2013)
In May 2004, he started his own consulting company, specialized in Luxury Brand Management, International Luxury Distribution and luxury retail operations, with a particular focus on emerging luxury markets and primarily Asia and China. He collaborated with international companies as well as some Chinese emerging brands and designers, on brand extensions, branding and retailing issues. He has advised brand owners in emerging markets on their brand development, international distribution and retail strategies.

Teaching and Educational Experience (2004-­‐2013)
Since September 2004 and until 2012, he has been the Executive Director of ESSEC MBA in International Luxury Brand Management and a Permanent Luxury Marketing Faculty at Essec Business School, teaching in various ESSEC Programs, including ESSEC MBA in international luxury brand management, ESSEC Master of science in Management and LVMH chair, IMHI (ESSEC Hospitality and Tourism MBA), Essec Executive Management programs.

Since 2011, Denis is spending about half of this time in China and Asia.

He is also teaching in Essec Asia Pacific campus in Singapore, acting as director for luxury executive programs launched by Essec in Singapore.

He is also acting as visiting professor in different business Schools in Asia, teaching brand management and luxury marketing courses in Peking University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Fudan School of management in Shanghai.

He is also collaborating with the EMBA programs of Fudan School of Management and Peking University and he is also organizing each year luxury study trips to France for groups of 40/50 EMBA students, which include a mix of courses and company visits in Paris and France. He also acts as in-­‐house luxury marketing trainer for luxury brands and luxury groups operating in China (Shanghai/HK)
