【高端互访】诺华高管访问BiMBA

    10月31日下午,诺华集团全球合作事务总裁Peter Jager博士在诺华中国总裁李振福和诺华中国总部人力资源总监洪朝阳的陪同下,来到北大朗润园,拜访了BiMBA MBA(BiMBA)并与BiMBA美方院长杨壮教授和培训及与企业合作事务部主任张销民进行了短暂的会谈。

    在会见中,Peter Jager博士与杨壮教授就全球化问题进行了探讨,并且指出中国市场将是诺华公司重要的增长区域,他高度评价BiMBA诺华中国人才发展中心为诺华发展作出的贡献,感谢BiMBA对诺华中国人才战略推进的帮助。杨壮教授表示了对Peter Jager博士的欢迎,并介绍了BiMBA的发展,对人才的培养以及BiMBA刚刚对印度的访问。

    诺华集团是全球最大的制药企业之一,2005年开始与BiMBA合作,在BiMBA建立了诺华中国人才发展中心,用以培养诺华中国各部门的一线经理和业务骨干,培训内容包括公司战略、市场营销管理、人力资源管理和领导力、公司财务管理、供应链管理和实战模拟等10门工商管理核心课程。今年10月,第二期BiMBA MBA-诺华中国人才发展项目的学员正式结业。

 

嘉宾介绍:                 

Dr. Peter Jager

Head International Coordination

Peter Jager, a Dutch national, studied Pharmacy & Pharmacology at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and earned his doctorate in Toxicology.

Peter’s professional career has been primarily in the pharmaceutical industry; during the past 22 years he has been active in R&D, Global Marketing and Country Management. His career has brought him a wealth of international and cross-cultural experience, with a geographic focus on Europe and Asia. Peter complemented his scientific background with an extensive business education at various institutes including Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

During the past 5 years, Peter has held the position as Country Head of Novartis in Thailand and Indochina, based in Bangkok. Novartis Thailand has become one of the leading health care providers in the areas of innovative pharmaceuticals, generic pharmaceuticals (Sandoz), animal health- and consumer health products as well as contact lenses (Ciba Vision).

Along with Novartis’ global policy of good Corporate Citizenship, Peter has been engaging Novartis Thailand and its 350 staff in a series of programs that reach out to the Thai community in various ways, including scholarships, patient assistance programs and drug donations in the areas of malaria and tuberculosis.

Peter has a passion for science, innovation, and cross-cultural issues. Next to his role at Novartis, he is actively engaged as Board Member in the Pharmaceutical Research-based Manufacturers Association of Thailand (PReMA) and the Swiss Thai Chamber of Commerce (STCC); he is also an active member of the Rotary Club Bangkok South. He was recently selected as the industry delegate to the Swiss Economic Mission to Thailand and Vietnam.

Since March 1, 2007 he took over the position of Head of International Coordination within Novartis International AG.
